MTRANS will accept your request when we have direct billing privileges, but Brokers are usually managing the plans, for Example: United Medicare advantage use ModivCare as the broker, Aetna Advantage uses Access2Care, Kaiser uses MTM
MTRANS works with all three and 9 others

Patients must be under 450 lbs
Your staff (CNA) might be asked to assist with transfer
Escorted Service Level:
MTRANS transport staff stands-by for duration of appointment and acts your facility representative
(Arranges Conference call between your nurse and medical staff at appointment, or anything else required)
The Purpose of Visit Guarantee-No Charges Apply
When your facility sends out a patient with MTRANS and the purpose of visit doesn't happen:
Your facility is not charged. XRAY down, doctor no-show, patient refuses, situation at Highland, ect
Cancel, reschedule, combine appointments: No Charges
Additional procedures added on while patient is out with MTRANS:
Going to ortho then labs and MRI added on: no charges apply
At Medical office and doctor orders a direct admit to ER: use reference
The MTRANS Guarantee applies to all non-insurance orders
Private Pay family requests are charged after the transport is completed, by payment link
Not Accepted: CASH, CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS
Facilities are invoiced once a month directly to AP, copied to BOM and Admin
Your Facility is added as Additional Insured on the MTRANS Policy
